Hello! I'm Alessandro Morais, a children's book illustrator with a great passion for bringing stories to life through art.
I studied Advertising and Illustration in Brazil, Ireland and Spain, where I also did a Master in Illustration. Over the years, I have developed my style in a self-taught way.
I chose to be an illustrator because it is something that really makes me happy and I do it with a lot of love. The birth of my daughter was a turning point: from then on, my world was filled with rainbows, unicorns and inspiration.
My style is characterized by exaggerated expressions, humor and hidden details-small surprises for the curious.
I work both digitally and with traditional techniques, such as watercolor, when the story calls for it.
When I'm not illustrating, I'm probably painting with my daughter, at the park or experimenting with baking.
